Founder & academic lead
Meet Annie.
An Irish UCD graduate, former university language teacher and C1-certified bilingual, based in Spain for more than 15 years.
A teacher who has lived it
A bridge between Irish coursework and Spanish life.
I set up my own language academy, Baylingo, after relocating from Ireland to the Basque Country. That gives my teaching a useful combination of academic precision and real-world perspective.
Over the past decade and a half, I have personally:
- Navigated Spanish residential and commercial property: buying, leasing and managing real estate.
- Set up a Spanish S.L. company: working with local schools, businesses and ayuntamientos.
- Raised children in Spain: understanding local schools and healthcare systems.
- Worked with SEC and university curricula: helping students prepare with clear, practical feedback.
